Lundon Calling

Well, it took me almost two hours to get my computer working today … and, since it is at the moment, I decided to do a bit of a blog.  It feels odd just knowing that we shall not be doing any Shows now until we are able to secure a computer for myself which will not flake out on us in the middle of things … and, this will only be accomplished through the help of our listeners kindness.  It’s never comfortable to be in this kind of a position, but it does happen in life sometimes.  We always like to think we are in control and capable of doing everything needed.

This is also a time for my body to do a bit of healing as I have ended up with some ribs being dislocated due to a rupturing of some of those ligaments which hold the ribs together.  So, I am moving carefully and slowly and hoping I don’t sneeze or cough.  I also must be patient because the Doc can do little or nothing and they just have to take time to heal.

My little dog and I shall be spending Thanksgiving together and we have decided to watch CNN Heroes hosted by Anderson Cooper that evening.  With all the crap we get in the News these days, it will be inspiring to see what these heroes are doing, we think.

Oh!  I’ve also suggested to our Show spiderman/webmaster … that since we won’t be doing Shows at this time, that maybe he could re-post Show #4 which was last year’s Thanksgiving Show.  We’ve grown to so many new listeners over the year and it will certainly be new for them … plus … it’s a damn good Show.  Ha!

I hope all of our listeners will be having a nice Thanksgiving with family, friends and loved ones … and if you are alone, like me: I trust you will also be saying “thank you” to our Creator!
