Lundon Calling

Yup!  Jon Provost will be our special guest on Nov. 11th Show #51 … I’ve known Jon since he was a young teenager when he became a “regular” on the live Show we did at Camp Pendleton for a 7 year run; that Show (The Jean London Show) became the “longest running monthly Show in the history of the American Armed Forces” and it just seems appropriate that Jon should be our guest on #51 since it is Veteran’s Day.  I’d invite you now to also check out his web info posted on our website where you will learn about his biography “Timmy’s In The Well”.

And, since he was on The Lassie Show for so many years … it also may be appropriate that we might be chatting about dogs when he is with us.  Both Lance and I are dog owners and dog lovers and I know the majority of our listeners are also.

I have to do this now also because my Dad always said “throw the bouquets when people can still smell them, kid” and I must say our Co Co-Host Phil is doing a great job with his blogs about each Show.  And speaking of blogs, I would definitely invite you to check out the Blogs list which is on our web site; If you look into each of them, you will find an incredible amount of information.  Knowledge is power!

Many thanks to our Show listeners who contact me via Email, private messages on my Facebook profile, and phone calls (because my phone # is posted for all to use).  This communication allows me to know we have a most diverse possible group of Show listeners: all the colors of the rainbow, from Hi Schoolers to Seniors, straights and queers, and Republican listeners think I am too liberal, while Democrat listeners think I am too conservative.  Ha!

And our listeners know that Lundon Calling is a THOUGHT Show where all they have to do is follow the advice of Aristotle: “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”
