Lundon Calling

Yes, I was bawled out by Spiderman and my CoCoHost, Phil, after the last show about the fact that I have not been blogging.  Then I was mocked by them saying maybe I was too old to learn … well, that was like waving a red flag in front of a bull … and damn it!  I WILL learn if it kills me!  So, I had my 1st little lesson about being a blogger.  And, I made a promise to discipline myself to post a blog a week … I will probably do this every Tuesday prior to our taping of the Wednesday Show.  They told me I could give a clue in advance of what the Show “topic” might be.

Well, they may have thought I select a topic for each Show.  Wrong-O … I honestly do not select a topic.  What I do do each week is make dozens of notes about a variety of things which I feel our listeners might be needing to hear about.  Then, when the Show is actually in process, I select from that pile of notes which subject I “feel” is important and we go with it.  I try to let myself be guided by my “feelings” in this matter because it is my belief that a listener (or maybe a lot of listeners) NEED to hear about whatever we are talking about.  We may talk about Pets … maybe the need for honey in our diets … maybe the problem of Racism … maybe something a heterosexual should know about a homosexual life to help educate.

What I also want to do is provide the listeners with upcoming events which may be important for them to learn about.  And, of course, because I feel humor is so very important in our lives, I also do try to tell my stupid little jokes so everyone can moan and groan.  The comments which I receive via Email, phone calls, etc. are also taken very seriously into consideration about what topics we need to cover.

Will we talk about political issues?  Surely, but remember that when I want to be involved in bull shit, I go out to the barn.
